Our Programs

In conjunction with our community partners and volunteers, RCDC offers several programs to members of the Lehigh Valley to help them develop the skills they’ll need to become leaders and advocates for their family, for their community, and for themselves.

Resurrected Life Children's Academy

The Resurrected Life Children’s Academy provides educational opportunities and childcare to Lehigh Valley children ages six weeks through kindergarten. With technology exposure, educational trips, and nutritious meals, these young students are supported mentally, physically, and spiritually.

James Lawson Freedom School

Too many inner-city children are left behind during the summer break, putting them at a disadvantage when compared to their peers. The James Lawson Freedom School turns the tide on summer learning loss, providing a rich, multicultural curriculum for children in grades K-12.

Lehigh Valley Freedom School Partnership

The Lehigh Valley Freedom School Partnership helps support the mission of the James Lawson Freedom School, assisting with both the human and financial needs that will help further the mission of providing enrichment and educational opportunities to underserved communities.

The Pre-K Counts Initiative

The Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts pre-kindergarten program, established by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, will make quality pre-kindergarten opportunities available to children and families across the commonwealth.
