Resurrected Life Children’s Academy

The Resurrected Life Children’s Academy is an Early Learning and Education Center in Allentown, PA, that provides children ages six-weeks through Kindergarten with diverse educational opportunities. Our staff and volunteers provide an Early Learning Childhood Center that creates empowered families and transformed communities. The academy is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and is a Star 4 early learning center as designated by the Keystone Stars Quality Initiative.

At Resurrected Life Children’s Academy every child is loved, nurtured, and accepted, we believe that all children have the ability to learn and that learning is fostered through relationships. Therefore, we strongly believe that children must be placed in an environment where LOVE LIVES!

Our hours are Monday – Friday from 6:30am – 6:30pm.

Denyse Therese Edwards serves as the Director of Resurrected Life Children’s Academy (RCLA) and manages most of the organization’s programs including the Annual Summer Back to School Bash which meets the needs of 800 students and families in the community, and a Family Fun Feast held each Fall within the community. Additional programs include an Annual Educational Toy Drive and Community Dinner at Christmas time.

Denyse is also a Co-Founder of both the Resurrected Life Community Church (RLCC) and the Resurrected Community Development Corporation (RCDC). She is happily married to Rev. Gregory J. Edwards and together they have four adult children and seven grandchildren. She was born in Trinidad and enjoys serving the children, women and families of her community.
